2018 Annual Firewise Block Party

Select "Board and Committees" on left pane of the website for the 2018-2019 Officers and Directors.

This year the name has changed to White Mountain Communities Annual Firewise Block Party. The venue announced on the door hanger as Blue Ridge HIgh School has changed to PFD Station 12. The time is from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm on Saturday, July 21, 2018. This event is being hosted by the Pinetop Fire District (PFD), Timber Mesa Fire & Medical District (TMFMD),  Navajo County Emergency Management, Firewise USA® communities (Pinetop Community Association (PCA), White Mountain Summer Homes, Woodland Park and Top of the Woods. You and your family are invited.

The block party event will help educate PCA members and our White Mountain community neighbors on how wildfires spread and the steps a homeowner should take to prepare their properties to better withstand a wildfire.  It is also an opportunity to meet Pinetop Fire Chief Jim Morgan, Smokey the Bear, local Firemen frfom Pinetop and the Timber Mesa Fire & Medical District, Navajo County Emergency Management team members, Arizona State Forestry Division representatives.
We will have information for property owners, fun stuff for the kids, food and door prize drawings.
Presentations will  scheduled  throughout the day from Pinetop Fire Chief Morgan Presentation
